- No. of Articles Published

Keep a spreadsheet to track above metrics every month. I personally fill spreadsheet cells monthly once. Few metrics you need to enter it manually like No. of articles published in the month. Email Subscribers (opt-in subscribers) from the Email Service Provider (ESP) that you are using.
Pageviews, Bounce Rate, Time Spent metrics need to take from Google Analytics dashboard.
Majority of the Good Content Marketers focuses on Increasing the Organic Traffic Metric and Email Subscribers to measure their content marketing efforts.
North Star Metric (NSM)
In addition, you need to focus on your North Star Metric which is the One Metric That Matters (OMTM) for your content marketing needs. OMTM is an acronym used widely in Growth Marketing. OMTM can be increasing the email subscribers, increasing the organic traffic, etc.,
If you Google “Content Marketing Metrics” keyword, you will get many KPIs and metrics in content marketing. But, I recommend you to focus on only ONE METRIC which we call North Star Metric or OMTM.
For me, I track only the No. of email subscribers opted in to receive my free courses and my updates.
