I am sharing Satwinder Singh’s experience at the meetup.

I would say it was a great experience. I have shifted to Hyderabad recently and this was my first Quora meetup in the city. I had attended the Quora world meetup in Kolkata last year and was excited to be in a new city this year.
I would like to thank, , and all the other organisers and Sponsors for doing a fantastic job in conducting this meetup so efficiently.
The venue of the location was at Octo-spaces, in Banjara Hills. It was an apt place, and the set-up/arrangements made were quite decent. The timing was from 4:30 pm to 8 pm. I reached the venue a little past 5 pm.

I happened to meetin the lift and had a good conversation with him, on digital marketing and other topics. It was a rainy day, but that still didn’t dampen the spirit of the near 30 odd people who turned up.
The meetup started with a live musical performance and then we had 2 specific sessions- The First one by Mr.on following your passion was quite an interesting take on what you should do to discover and follow your passion. Being in IT, he has managed to follow his passions and has even published a book recently.
The second session was on Cognitive Psychology, an area of interest for me as well, and very efficiently taken by. He focussed a lot on the different kinds of bias which exist and what we can do to avoid them. I had an offline chat with him later as well.
Post the sessions, we had some snacks and did some amount of networking with the fellow Quorans and then winded up the night by 8:30 pm. I did manage to interact with few people who are doing quite some interesting stuff, like working in a start up or launching their own business.
I am looking forward to more such meetups in future. One point I would like to make is that i was a bit surprised to see almost no female present at all (I guess there were just 2 in total out of 30+ participants). Whereas in almost all other cities wherever Quora meetups took place, women have participated in far more numbers. I am sure we can look at improving the gender diversity in Hyderabad as well.
Thats it from my side. Signing off and looking to more such engagements. A big shout out to all the organisers for their painstaking efforts.
